Shunt to Suit Panel BEP

This shunt is used with analogue ammeters that allows the ammeter to show your outgoing amperage (as normally the ammeter only shows incoming amps from your alternator).

You would not expect to be monitoring short use amperage on high loads (such as a starter motor/ anchor winch / electric toilet / electric sheet winches) thus these are rated to generally 100amp, (given starting current is 3 times the running current, you would not run the above items (starter motor etc) through this system.
