Essentially the kit consists of an injector, which attaches to normal flushing muffs used by outboard and stern drive users, which injects via normal water supply a treatment solution, Macs Ultrafilm into the cooling system of the motor.
The Ultrafilm leaves an oily film behind which prevents further corrosion damage by the salt water.
The film also has good lubricating properties which conditions moving parts in the water pumps and thermostats.
Any salt corrosion or deposits are removed by the Ultrafilm allowing for more efficient cooling and reduced overheating.
The unit is supplied in a blister pack containing full instructions and technical advice and for your initial lubrication a 1 litre pack is well adequate though for larger industrial users a 4 litre pack is available.
