These bronze twinfast wood screws have a considerably higher tensile strength than brass screws. Though not as high as a solid woodscrew is, as these have a rolled thread, that is pushed out rather than cut from a solid format, for the stronger we suggest

With screws, the larger the gauge number, the fatter the screw, for example 1" (25mm) x 8 guage is thinner than 1" (25mm) x 10 guage. With nails the opposite is true.

Their resistance to de-zinc-ification is also greater and therefore ideal for high quality marine work and under water use.
