These Eye Nuts are made from cast stainless steel (#304 = M5 and #316 = M6 - M16 . With a female metric thread for lifting purposes and creating an eye on either a threaded bolt or threaded rod.
Often used on the other end of an eyebolt to create an eye to eye. An example for a bow eyebolt with a convenient eye on the inside as well.
Some folk use it on their balustrade ends so they may attach a wire to the loop.
