Flare Packs

 Here at boat we offer a few different kinds of flare packs to suit every kind of boating.

All of our packs are provided in a convenient polybottle pack measuring 300mm H x 150mm W x 150mm Diameter

Dinghy/Harbour Pack (03901) :

A base flare kit that comprises of three hand held red flares.

Powerboat/Trailer Boat Pack (03902) : 

Ideal for runabouts operating up to two miles from land, or within sight of potential help. Contains 2 x Red Hand Flares, 1 x Orange Hand Smoke Signal.

Inshore/Peninsula Pack (03903) :  (CAT 3,4 and 5)

Ideal for vessels operating up to three miles from land, or within sight of potential help. Meets with New Zealand Yachting Federation category B rules. Contains 2 x Red Hand Flares, 2 x Orange Hand Smoke Signals.

Cruiser/Sounds Pack (03904) : 

This mighty kit is a versatile yet relatively inexpensive unit that has 1 x Red Parachute Rocket to raise the alarm with 2 Red Hand Held Flares and 1 x Orange Hand Smoke to pinpoint your position. The flare polybottle with a large screw lid houses the set, with room to place any small extras you may feel necessary to have.

Coastal/Island Pack (03905) : $359.83

For use up to seven miles from land & when boating or sailing between coastal ports. Meets NZYF category A T/Yt rules, with 2 x Parachute Red Rockets to raise the alarm, 2 x Red Hand Flares & 2 x Orange Hand Smoke Signals to pin point your position. The rigid flare polybottle as used on the units above.

YNZ FLARE PACK CAT 1 & 2  (03907) : $248.34

As indicated, this pack meets fully with Yachting New Zealand Rules for catagory 1, 2 and 3 Offshore Racing Yachts. The large flare polybottle houses   4 x Red Hand Flares and 2 x Orange Hand Smoke Daytime Signals.
