Chopped Strand Mat 1m CSM E GLASS

gCHOPPED STRAND MAT 1.0M WIDE E Glass 225gm per square meter and 450g per square meter

Chopped strand mat is constructed of short fibreglass fibres, varying in length at approximately 3cm and splattered into a 1m wide cloth. 

This is powder bound E glass - making it good for Polyester and very good for Vinylester Resins, even epoxies.  It can also be used for epoxy based resins, but the course lay means an uneven surface is created with most resins.

Normally used only in boat construction and some major repair work with fibreglass vessels. If lineal strength is required we would normally used a woven cloth rather than chopped stranded mat
