Designed for 1" (25mm) outside diameter stainless tubing, shorter handrails (say less than 700mm) simply use a handrail END at each end, while something 1m we would use two ends and a mid (or middle) unit. Pair 2 rail ends with any number of rail mids for any length handrail.
