Developed from double braid polyester core with another polyester braided outer cover using a 16 carrier process.  The polyester is the best for imperviousness towards liquids and sunlight, while stretch is minimal (around 3-5% when not at the edge of breaking strain)

So we use these for halyards on traditional craft where stretch of 3-5% is not an issue, also great on jib sheets,  and main sheets, spinnaker sheets.

If you prefered a special colour fleck, (other than the standard white with red, green, blue, black, or gold) then we are only too happy to help - these following colours must be a minimum of 20m and simply allow 12 business days for these special colour ways.  white with navy fleck, or with fawn(light tan), or with brown, or with silver, or with orange, or with purple.

Designed for easier handling without compromising performance standards.

Softness of the outer cover means it flattens around winches giving greater traction. Splicable.

Braided polyester core and cover make a strong, UV and abrasion resistant rope.

Popular for sheet, halyards and control lines on Sail boats.  Also used as high standard mooring lines at jetties occasionally as they are less prone to squeaking in the night.

This rope is the same as our brights range, but comes in white background. Ultra soft and remains so.

Used for genoa sheets, on cruising yachts and main sheets. Ideal for sheets and halyards.

Prices are per metre, spools attract a discount and are 100m long.

Available /m and /100m.

As a guide only, breaking strains are :

6mm - 700kg

8mm - 1250kg

10mm - 1800kg

12mm - 2600kg

14mm - 3100kg

Braided ropes have a unique advantage in that the fibres lock tighter together as the load increases. They are stable with respect to twisting because there is no unbalanced twist as found in a laid rope.
