Flat Braid Rope Polyester 20mm

This product comes in black only at this stage.

It is formulated from the Braided rope you see on large yacht lines, but it is the outer extra soft casing only.  Without a core is makes it extremely soft and yet remaining strength is considerable.  Because of this it is ideal for inflatable vessels where it can be easily manipulated to thread through itself to suit the Dee rings along the side of the RIB or inflatable. The design allows for easy-thread through other devices as seen in the above image. Constructed of flat braided polyester to give the best ultra-violet protection, very soft.  Maximum width when flat 45mm, often used around very large inflatable chase boats for man overboard handles looped through the gunwhale for swimmers in the water to grab hold of. Though flat in design it is tubular, making the strength high.

Mooring lines and anchor rode

For mooring lines we advise to take one-and-a-half times the boat length. Of course, this also depends on your personal preference. Often you would have at least two mooring lines of one-and-a-half times the boat length and two mooring lines of one boat length on board. For your home marina, we often splice the mooring lines customized to the dimensions of the berth. You can protect these mooring lines with a chafing cover or a stainless steel thimble at critical points.

Mooring line Boat length x 1.5
Anchor rode Maximum water depth x 5
