Grab Hook Fork End 10mm

Solid s/s grade #316 grab hook

That allows 3/8 (10mm) galv chain to slot into hook. Often used as an anchor chain hook to relieve the noise that gets transmitted up the anchor chain at night as it rolls across the sea bottom. By simply slotting it through the chain, say 600mm below your bow fairlead and tie a rope from it back to your bollard the noise does not transmit up through the rope, if it unhooks in the night - you still remain on your chain.
