Plug and socket removable 2 Pin Heavy Duty

Getting a decent heavy duty yet waterproofing plug and socket unit is essential for outdoor machinery and even the newer higher amperage power drain of electric fishing reels. This allows you to attach temporary (tiller autopilots, fishing gear and spotlights, davit lifting motors ) high drain items that are often not wanted to be left in the cockpit or their place of use. Having a waterproof plug and socket set designed in three sizes solves this.

The unit accepts a firm push and pivot action to secure in the socket and then a slight turn outer nut holds the seal and keeps everything in the socket. The socket has a rubber bedding washer and fastenings in stainless are supplied with the unit for mounting the socket. The plug has an integral rubber cable gland that helps the incoming accessory wires to seal. Unlike many the wire securing terminals on these are large enough to take the larger matching wires needed.
