Toilet 12V (13510B)

First of the new series electric toilets in the Vetus (Holland) range that incorporate the low noise, high power macerator within the wrap around modern porcelain bowl unit. The Vetus macerator churns from the centre to the outside in its operation, whereas the previous smaller units tried to chop before clearing and thus blockages occurred. While all toilets create less smell by using fresh water rather than salt water (Litres per flush), the units can be plumbed in line to your existing fresh water galley supply pump or fusing salt water an additional pressure pump (minimum capacity 10L/ minute) is required. The additional rocket action switch is required to make this work.

The TMW 12Q we have the workings on the back inside the unit. The incoming fresh water is simply teed off the pressure pump of the vessels fresh water supply. The flush water is sourced from a pressurized system in the vessel , either fresh or salt water. The wall mount switch automatically operates a solenoid inside the grey box in the back of the toilet. , In that control box is a solenoid valve that opens and allows the water in , It is very similar to a washing machine water inlet valve. The wall panel type has a timer that operates this solenoid valve , The switch type is a basic power to the solenoid to open it.

While the unit sometimes comes with 3 different outlet tail pipes we generally only use the 38mm (largest) to help minimise possible blockages, we do not use the smaller sizes.

Vetus Switching wall panel Unit required to operate but sold seperate.
