Windex Wind indicators are an effective and practical method for determining wind direction when mounted in a clear air path. Our Windex indicators are suitable for small craft dinghys and up to moored craft sail boats. On the bottom side of each wind indicator comes a reflective strip useful for determining wind direction at night.

The optional Windex LED 12v is a recommended add-on to further increase the accuracy of reading the wind direction in rough weather or during the night. This saves you from shining a torch upwards for moored sized craft for night sailing. It requires a 12v supply and is normally mounted on the mast.

The Windex 10 in fixed mount is able to be fixed to only a vertical mast or pole. This wind indicator is more suitable for small craft dinghys and off the beach sailing craft.
